Tank Wars got much more exciting!

What a difference a few games makes. Suddenly the Buffalo Sabres are not playing like the basement-dwellers they’ve been for the beginning of the season. Of course, with that offensive revival and subsequent few wins, making your picks for the Tank Wars has gotten that much more challenging now.

I’ll update the leaderboard during the week, this has been a pretty hectic holiday weekend.

Part Five of THE TANK WARS kicks off here, with another six games on the first fortnight of the December slate. Remember, you don’t need cheat sheets, stats, pencils, late night drafts or in fact, little to no knowledge of the Buffalo Sabres either to play the Tank Wars. All you have to do is pick what you think the Sabres performances in the following categories –

1) winning team [W] (including a shootout winner) = B (Buffalo) or O (Other)
2) goals [G] over/under in each game (O/U of 5.5 goals) = O (Over) or U (Under)
3) powerplay goals [PPG] over/under in each game (O/U of 1.5 goals) = O or U
4) penalty minutes [PIM] over/under in each game (O/U of 25 PIM) = O or U

Get your picks in before puckdrop in Tuesday’s game. If you miss the deadline, just put in your picks for the remaining games as soon as you can. This will be season-long, so make sure you don’t miss any weeks. Good luck, and Go Sabres!
