A number of Buffalo Sabres alumni are currently working in pro, minor or junior hockey in a variety of roles. Perhaps the most recent addition to the list is Thomas Vanek, who was recently hired as a North American amateur scout by the San Jose Sharks. Vanek will focus on the Minnesota region.
