Following the NHL’s draft lottery on Tuesday evening, the Buffalo Sabres hold the 11th overall selection in the upcoming draft. The draft will be held June 28-29 at Sphere in Las Vegas, as officially announced by the league on Tuesday.
This lottery marked the first time since 2010 that the draft order went unchanged. The San Jose Sharks have the first overall pick, which is likely to be used to select top prospect Macklin Celebrini.
The pre-draft NHL Scouting Combine will once again be held in Buffalo, June 2-8 at LECOM Harborcenter.
