Grading the Buffalo Sabres – Week ending 11/27/16

Despite the return of top line center Ryan O’Reilly, the Buffalo Sabres couldn’t put together a decent run of form, ending the week with one win, one loss in regulation and a shootout loss.

The steady flow of players back and forth the I-90 from Rochester to the parent club in Buffalo continued unabated for yet another week, but there was additional respite on the way with star Jack Eichel finally hitting the ice with a return aimed in the next couple of weeks.

As always, we’ve got all the forwards and defensemen who played over the past week in the grading.

We’re sticking with the Corsi For % as well the stats beyond just the goals, assists and +/-. For Dan Bylsma we’ve added the team’s overall Corsi For % as a measurable stat.
