The Buffalo Sabres begin their season tonight against the Montreal Canadiens for the second straight year. A lot of questions still surround the hockey club. How improved is the defense? Is the secondary scoring on the roster improved? Can Reinhart succeed at center? How will the players fit in Phil Housley’s system?
Those are just a few questions of the many we’ll start to get some answers on starting tonight. Also, the Sabres have a lot of new faces for fans to get used to in Benoit Pouliot, Seth Griffith, Marco Scandella, Victor Antipin, Jordan Nolan and Nathan Beaulieu.
