The Buffalo Sabres’ latest defeat means they’re pretty much out of the playoffs at this point, with a less than marginal chance of making the dance. That’s not an April Fool’s joke in itself, but the franchise at this point continues to be an afterthought, and that is more worrying for all of us Sabres fans.
