Seattle announces Kraken as their official team name

The 32nd NHL franchise will be called the Seattle Kraken

Release the Kraken! Ok, I had to at least get that in this one time.

Today, the new Seattle franchise made it official that their team name will be the Kraken. The color scheme may not be what many expected, but in my opinion, they hit on everything else around it.

The S logo with the tentacle going through it is a nice touch. My favorite part of the designs is probably the secondary logo which is an anchor with the space needle top.
