Saturday’s Sabres Game Postponed

Saturday’s game between the Buffalo Sabres and the Boston Bruins has been postponed as a result of four additional Boston Bruins players entering the NHL’s COVID protocols, the league announced on Friday afternoon.

Buffalo had one of its staff members enter COVID protocol on Thursday morning, while Bruins forward Sean Kuraly also entered protocol. Despite this, the game went on as scheduled. Now, four more Bruins players have entered protocol and Boston’s next two games have been postponed.

The Sabres practiced on Friday and are scheduled to play next on Monday, when they’ll travel to Manhattan for a 7 p.m. faceoff against the New York Rangers.
