Three Questions

1. Can Linus Ullmark get his first career shutout?

Just like the Sabres, the Predators have not been able to score as of late. Nashville has been shutout the past three games, a franchise record. They haven’t scored in over 200 minutes of play. If the Sabres continue their woes, it would be the first clean sheet for the Sabres young goalie.

2. Can Jack Eichel get back to his scoring ways?

Eichel has had an impressive season thus far, but he hasn’t scored a goal in over two weeks. Will he be able to end his scoring drought tonight when I get to see him in person for the first time? (Ok, there is slight personal bias with this question).

3. Will Zemgus Girgensons make an impact in his return?

Dan Bylsma confirmed that Girgensons will be back in the lineup tonight. He’s been a strong defensive presence, but has only scored one goal this season.

Projected BUF Lineup

It was an optional skate at practice this morning, so lines are a bit sketchy. We do know that Mark Pysyk is out and Girgensons is in, but the status of Evander Kane is still up in the air.

Moulson – O’Reilly – Gionta

Kane? Possibly Girgensons – Eichel – Reinhart

Foligno – Larsson – Ennis

McGinn – Legwand -Deslauriers

Gorges – Ristolainen
McCabe – Bogosian
Colaiacovo – Franson

Goal: Linus Ullmark
