Two Questions

1. Can the Sabres power play continue to dominate?

After last night’s slate of games, the Buffalo Sabres now own the #1 power play in the NHL, cooking along at 23.8%. They’ve converted four of their last six chances over the past three games, According to the team’s preview, the last time Buffalo finished with a top-5 power play was everyone’s favorite 2005-06 season.

2. How will Buffalo’s legs hold up as the game progresses?

The Sabres are playing their fifth game in seven days, and Robin Lehner is getting the start again tonight after facing 44 shots last night against Toronto. The good news is that the Canucks are also playing the second game of a back-to-back, losing last night 4-3 to Boston.
