Sabres sign Jean Dupuy to a three-year entry level deal
The 20-year-old left winger hasn't exactly been lighting it up in juniors.
The Sabres announced tonight that they have signed forward Jean Dupuy to a three-year entry-level deal. Dupuy, a 20-year-old undrafted free-agent, has scored five goals and 14 assists in 19 games for the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds. Dupuy has already recorded more points than he did the season prior, when he scored 17 points in 45 games.
Very proud to announce that I have signed an entry level contract with the @BuffaloSabres, a dream come true!!

He's certainly not one to back down from a fight. He's could put a little more weight on him, standing at 6'3" and 195 lbs, but he lead the OHL in fighting majors last season. His offensive ceiling is likely limited, and is projected to be more of a grinder. He had short stint with Winnipeg earlier this season, attending their training camp.
Jean Dupuy, 20, signed by Sabres. Team-first, blue collar forward. Physical 2way style, PKer. Attended Jets camp. Plays in Sault Ste. Marie
