The first move to be released after the deadline was passed was Matt Moulson and Cody McCormick to Minnesota for two picks and Torrey Mitchell. Mitchell will wear 17 [Sabres.com]
The day ended with the Sabres sending Jarolsav Halak and a third to Washington for Michal Neuvirth and a sixth. Neuvirth is slated to wear 34 [Sabres.com]
