Sabres Day 2+ Signings (Prow, Hayden)

Hot off the presses!

Ethan Prow, Minnesota man, makes his comeback from the DEL (German League) to a juicy 750k contract with the Sabres. The 6’0” 185lb right handed forward has amassed a .53 PPG in his AHL career following four seasons at St. Cloud State University. Has yet to crack an NHL lineup, but looks to add a promising skillset to the veteran corps we will need in Rochester.

John Hayden, a Chicago man, has also been signed. the 6’3” 220lb left handed forward/center was a third round pick of the Blackhawks back in 2013. After finishing his career as a fancy boy at Yale University, Hayden has played in 185 NHL games to just 24 AHL games. Looks to be competition for the bottom 6. Most recently, played 29 games with the Coyotes last year gnabbin’ 5 points and 37 PIM. We’ll see where he ends up, but if he can’t crack the Sabres lineup, looks to be a force at the AHL level.

We’re expecting a plethora of signings for Rochester, we’ll see who we end up grabbing the rest of free agency
