What to Watch
1. Rebounding
It’ll be interesting to see how the Sabres rebound after their loss in Ottawa on Thursday. They were outplayed throughout the game, but had the opportunity to win until they gave up the tying goal with 30 seconds left. Then losing a minute into overtime. Will they go back to playing well or roll downhill quickly.
2. Scott Wilson
Wilson is a small streak over the last four games. He has four points in the last four contests. Including goals in two straight and three goals in four games.
Know Your Opponent
1. Dion Phaneuf
Phaneuf will play his second game in a Kings sweater tonight. He scored a goal in his debut against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.
2. Skidding
The Kings have lost three straight tonight. This will be the their fifth game of a seven game road trip. After tonight they have a back to back with the Chicago Blackhawks and Winnipeg Jets. I’d expect a desperate Kings club tonight in Buffalo.
