What to Watch
1. McCabe Back?
Marco Scandella left yesterday’s game after being hit in the foot with a puck. It would appear unlikely he plays tonight. That leaves an opening for Jake McCabe to return to the lineup after it was believed he may be out for the remainder of the season.
2. Avoid Humiliation?
The Sabres have been embarrassed in two of their last three games. They were dominated by the New York Islanders last night as they were looking to clinch a playoff berth. The Blue Jackets are in a tight playoff race with the Montreal Canadiens and need the two points tonight. Will the Sabres be ready or walked all over again?
3. Game-time decisions
Neither team skated this morning having played last night. The lineups on both sides will be game-time decisions.
