POLL: Best Sabres Captain since 2000?

Since Captain Crunch is back in town (or in Rochester anyway), and it looks like the Sabres will be needing a new captain soon (hopefully very soon!), and because I stumbled across an article listing the Sabres Captains of the 2000s, I figured it was a good time for a poll to find out who was your favorite Sabres captain of the 2000s.

Skipping the captains who only wore the C for a month or so, these are all the contenders (I think):

Michael Peca was captain from 1997-2000.

Stu Barnes was captain from 2001 until March 2003.

Chris Drury was captain November 2003, March 2004, and then from 2005-2007.

Daniel Briere was captain in February 2004 and then from 2005-2007.

Craig Rivet was captain from October 2008 until 2011.

Jason Pominville was captain in March 2008 and then again from 2011 until 2013.

Steve Ott was captain from October 2013 until February 2014.

Brian Gionta was captain from 2014 until 2017.

Jack Eichel has been the captain since October 2018.

So what do you think? Who was your favorite Sabres Captain of the 2000s?

Thanks for voting! And feel free to expand on your answer down in the comments.
