The Sabres officially announced Ted Nolan’s coaching staff, and there were no real surprises. Arturs Irbe, who had been rumored to be the next goalie coach for nearly the whole off-season, joins Bryan Trottier, Danny Flynn and Tom Coolen [Sabres.com]
There were also moves in the front office. It was announced that Mark Jakubowski had been named assistant GM as well as that Rob Murphy and Greg Royce have moved from Ottawa to join the Sabres hockey department [Sabres.com]
