The Buffalo Sabres return to action tonight for their penultimate preseason game. It’s a rematch with the Columbus Blue Jackets, but both teams will dress rosters much closer to their NHL-ready squads tonight as opposed to Saturday. Buffalo won that game 4-3 after wiping out a 3-0 deficit.
The Sabres’ roster is nearly set, as the team assigned Jiri Kulich and Isak Rosen to the Rochester Americans earlier today. They also assigned Brett Murray to Rochester, but he’ll have to clear waivers first.
