Here’s an open thread for discussing all matters Buffalo Sabres and NHL related for this week. Of course, you can talk about anything else you like too.
We’re 10 games into the new season – which is nearly 1/5th of the season already done! The Sabres are not really good, and not really bad either. In fact they are bang average and I’m actually feeling pretty good about my point-per-game prediction for how they will finish the season.
Which is somewhat disappointing because no team in the MassMutual East has really distinguished themselves as unbeatable, and the Sabres continue to drop points against teams like the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers.

This week Buffalo will see two new opponents – all road games against New York Islanders (Tuesday & Thursday), and then the Boston Bruins (Saturday & Monday)
