Anyone seen the animated movie Superman: Doomsday that came out in 2007? I had fond memories of reading the book as a kid so I checked it out yesterday and was surprised. People die, necks are snapped, and it deals with things like Superman’s commitment issues, Lex Luthor’s extortion of disease for profit, and how cancer works. It was surprisingly mature – unlike the 2009-10 Buffalo Sabres team! (See what i did there?) Larry Felser agrees.
