It has yet to be reported which draft year the sixth-round pick is coming from or if there are any conditions on it.
Beaulieu, 26, played 89 games with the Sabres, collecting a total of four goals and 12 assists in his career with in the blue and gold. The former first round pick will be headed to the Jets as a depth defenseman on a Stanley Cup contender. The Stratford, Ontario native was a part of six total deals made by the Jets on deadline day.
The Jets had a need for some depth on their blue line after one of their top-four defensemen went down last night in Josh Morrissey. Winnipeg added a few other depth players by the end of the day as well.
Stay tuned for more updates on the NHL trade deadline.
