The next team up in our Around The Atlantic preseason mini-series for Beyond The Blade are the Detroit Red Wings. Anthony Sciandra was joined by the guys from the Winged Wheel Podcast.
While the Red Wings didn’t make a lot moves this offseason, the ones they did make were interesting. Their big move was brining in Steve Yzerman as their new general manager. The former Red Wing great will be responsible for leading the organization’s rebuild.
Like the Sabres, the Red wings will be relying on a few young players to come up and make an impact this season. This is one of the topics they spend some time on, discussing the specific players they’ll be relying on to make a jump.
