What to Watch

1. We Meet Again

The Sabres look to extend their point streak and follow up on Saturday’s shootout win with another match-up against the Devils on Sunday afternoon. Although Buffalo ended up with the extra point on Saturday, it should never have gotten that close – especially with the Devils missing some of their big-name players, including goaltender Mackenzie Blckwood.

2. (It’s Probably) Hutton Time

Linus Ullmark has been unreal the last few games and has really saved a couple games for the Sabres. Since this is the second half of a back-to-back set, it’s likely that he’ll get a well-deserved rest on Sunday afternoon, which opens the door for Carter Hutton to play his first game since January 19.

3. Then It’s Time to Hit the Road

After Sunday’s game, the Sabres will open the month of February with four games on the road. They’ll travel to face the New York Islanders for a pair on Tuesday and Thursday before visiting the Bruins on Saturday & next Monday. Buffalo will play 12 games in 27 days in February.
