Buffalo Sabres Announce Their Preseason Schedule

With the regular season schedule expected to come out by the end of this week, the Buffalo Sabres have whetted their fans appetites with the announcement of their preseason schedule. The schedule features seven games, three of which are at home this season, against four different opponents. Those opponents include the familiar foes across the border in Toronto along with two other divisional opponents in Montreal and Boston.

This schedule sets up opening night in the league to be roughly October 10th. Of course, as a disclaimer on anything that is planned this offseason, this is contingent on the CBA to be ironed out before the September 15th deadline. If that doesn't happen, it would push back or eliminate these preseason games.
