The Buffalo Beauts have announced that the offseason has finally come to an end. On September 19, the team will open camp at 7pm on HarborCenter ice. Additional practices will be follow through the week and the Black and Blue Scrimmage will take place on September 22.
The practices and the scrimmage are open to the public and are scheduled as follows:
Practice: 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Skill Skate: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Practice: 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
Scrimmage: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Following the scrimmage, players will remain at HarborCenter and the Healthy Scratch (located just outside the rinks) to sign autographs for fans.
In addition to training camp, the Beauts will take part in two exhibition games – one on neutral ice at Colgate University against the Connecticut Whale to be held September 23, and another matchup against Cornell Univerity’s vaunted women’s hockey team on October 14.
These exciting and family-friendly opportunities to catch a glimpse of the new-look Beauts will surely be great experiences. Some of the biggest names in women’s hockey will join Buffalo’s already impressive roster, and few in the world get to see these women for free.
