In Episode 68 Prospects Talk hosts Chad DeDominicis and Bill Schake are joined by Max Marko from Die By The Blade to discuss the Buffalo Sabres prospects. The group also chatted about the 2018 NHL Draft, including players at the top of the draft and near the end of the first round.
The podcast started off by discussing newly signed defenseman Lawrence Pilut and if he’ll start the year with the Sabres or down in the AHL with the Rochester Americans.
Next, we talked about the current prospects including Justin Bailey, Nick Baptiste, Hudson Fasching, CJ Smith and Alex Nylander. We also touched on Victor Olofsson, Rasmus Asplund and if Danny O’Regan is a realistic option to crack the Sabres lineup.
Then we flipped to the NHL talking about players at the top like Brady Tkachuk, Oliver Wahlstrom, and Quinn Hughes. The podcast wrapped up talking about players that could be available to the Sabres at pick 32 like Dominik Bokk and Alexander Alexeyev.
