Hello, everybody. I am Max Marko, the latest addition to the Die by the Blade cast. I know the first question all of you have is “why is Mark Pysyk the photo header?”, and that question can be easily answered by one quick look at my Twitter feed.
But that’s not important.
I have been a Sabres fan my entire life. The first Sabres game I ever attended was a 2006 classic between the Sabres and the Los Angeles Kings that resulted in a 10-1 Sabres rout and featured hat tricks from Jochen Hecht and Jason Pominville.
Here in the present day, I have mixed my passion for hockey with my passion for writing. My main focus here, and elsewhere, is prospects. You can find me contributing at Dobber Prospects and Last Word on Hockey Prospects as a scout/writer. I am also currently majoring in Journalism at Bowling Green State University while broadcasting for BGRSO and BG 24 News.
I also run the @SabresGoalaDay Twitter account.
I am very much looking forward to working with everybody here and getting to know all of you along the way. I have been reading Die by the Blade for quite some time so being able to contribute here is something I would have never thought to be possible.
