After a few years of, let’s call them strained relations, Dominik Hasek has returned to the Buffalo Sabres family, and tonight was inducted as the 42nd member of the Sabres Hall of Fame.
Hasek’s numerous individual awards, including six Vezinas in eight years, two Hart Trophies, and an Olympic gold medal, among others, certainly put him in consideration for the greatest Sabres player, and perhaps the greatest NHL goalie, of all time.
