It was a special evening for Buffalo Sabres fans last night, as Dominik Hasek had his number 39 raised to the rafters - an honor long-deserved for the greatest goaltender in franchise history. The night featured a number of Hasek-centric events and items, highlighted by the Dominator's speech and his banner raising. Before the game, Mayor Byron Brown officially declared it "Dominik Hasek Day" in Buffalo:
