The PHBA Awards and our votes

Here's our votes and the results from the first ever Professional Hockey Bloggers Awards.

A few weeks ago, the folks over at The Royal Half (specifically PumperNicholl) got 65 hockey blogs and bloggers to submit their votes for the first ever Professional Hockey Bloggers Association awards. Similar to the PHWA (but with no W and a very loose definition of the word Professional) the PHWA is made up of some of the biggest team-specific hockey blogs out there, and a few independent bloggers for good measure. As TRH says:

Is the inaugural PHBA vote worse than what the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association and NHL General Managers put out for you every year, or are the team-specific blogs you’ve come to know and love providing you with a better representation of who should win each award?

Two blogs for each team and a few blogging celebrities voted on the major award categories, submitting five entries per award on a 10-7-6-3-1 point basis. Below are the results, and who DBTB voted for. Definitely check out the full list of winners (and who voted for who) over at the Royal Half, and let us know how you think we did in the comments.
