Three Questions

1. How will Hudson Fasching and Casey Nelson look in their debuts?

Dan Bylsma confirmed at practice yesterday that both newcomers will be in the lineup. Fasching starts on the fourth line, replacing Cal O’Reilly, while Carlo Colaiacovo comes out for Nelson.

2. Will any tempers flair between Evander Kane and the Jets?

There won’t be any Tyler Myers/Buffalo reunion due to an injury, but Kane and the Jets might be enough entertainment. Since it doesn’t seem that anyone on the Sabres has any issue with Drew Stafford, Kane is the most likely to cause some trouble. Watch out for Byfuglien, Evander!

3. Can Ryan O’Reilly stay hot?

O’Reilly has assists in three of the four games since he’s come back from injury. He’s been a great playmaker for the Sabres, but still hasn’t scored a goal since December. Can his strong play translate to a goal of his own?

Projected BUF Lines

Girgensons – Eichel – Reinhart
Foligno – Larsson – Gionta
Moulson – Legwand – Fasching

Gorges – Ristolainen
