Sabres vs. Bruins Preview: Sabres Look For Revenge Against Boston

It's game three for these division rivals, and the Sabres are looking for a better game than the last time the Bruins came to Buffalo.

The Sabres-Bruins series thus far has been a tale of opposites. In the first meeting of these two teams this season, the Sabres routed Boston by a score of 7-4, winning the battle of goals and the battle of fists, and giving Sabres fans hope that this season might be different than the last. The second game, however, was a reversal of fortune, with a tired Sabres team unable to keep pace in the third period of a 3-1 Boston win that wasn't as close as the score might say. What will happen tonight?

Game #15

The Sabres should finally be rested for tonight's match up; they've just come off of a grueling 14 games in 24 days stretch, and have had two days off for the first time since Week 1 of the new season. Hopefully that will translate into better play on the ice for Buffalo, who are looking to avoid their third loss in a row which would see them alone at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

Lindy Ruff was positive and fiery in his comments yesterday, taking the blame on himself and saying that the Sabres will find their groove soon. Sure would be nice if that were tonight, right?
