UPDATE: Jake McCabe has been recalled from Rochester, and could play today for the Sabres. It’s also his 22nd birthday.

Three Questions

1. How will Dan Bylsma’s “line pairings” work out?

At yesterday’s practice, the Sabres coach revealed that he’ll have line pairings (O’Reilly & Ennis, Eichel & Kane) and will juggle wingers game to game or even shift to shift based on who’s clicking. Will this unique style of line juggling result in an improved offensive attack, or just more offensive ineptitude?

2. How will O’Reilly fare on the wing?

The man who was brought in to be the Sabres top line center is getting a tryout along the boards today in an attempt to jump-start some offense from the Sabres top line, which has been collectively shut out so far this season. Buffalo needs O’Reilly and Tyler Ennis to start producing to take some of the pressure off of a shaky defense and goalie Chad Johnson.

3. Our favorite question in this matchup – which Foligno brother will come out on top?

Marcus and Nick Foligno continue the family rivalry tonight – which bro will be best?

Kane – Eichel – Gionta

Moulson – Larsson – Foligno

Deslauriers – Legwand – McGinn/Reinhart
