Sabres vs. Avalanche Preview: Another night of Grigopalooza
The Sabres return after three days off to battle the struggling Avalanche.
Game #33
Buffalo Sabres (13-17-2) vs.
Colorado Avalanche (10-13-8)
Three Questions
1. Will Grigorenko score his first goal of the season?
After being sent down to take part in last night's Americans game, Mikhail Grigorenko has returned for a second straight game. He didn't make a huge effect in the Winnipeg game. Will he be able to get on the scoreboard tonight?
2. How will Gorges look in his return from injury?
Josh Gorges has missed the last two games with a finger injury, but Ted Nolan says he expects the sturdy defenseman to return tonight. Will Gorges show any signs of rust after the short stint out of the lineup?
3. Will the Sabres help Colorado get back on the right track?
Remember when Colorado was good and incredibly fun to watch just last season? Well, times change very fast. The Avalanche have lost six of their last seven games and have as many points as the Sabres do. This could be a must win or must lose game depending on what your mindset is.
