The Sabres were clearly the second best team for the second game running

At The Horn

The Sabres have now been outclassed for pretty much the last six periods of hockey, to the point where it might be pertinent to question if the first game was the anomaly, or the last pair of games.

There are too many passengers on this Buffalo team right now, and Alex Lyon is only capable of covering for so many defensive gaffes. The power play is still awful, and the Habs consistently keep looking like they have more skaters on the ice than the Sabres.

Right now Buffalo has no answers for this Montreal team’s skill, speed and energy, and face coming back home for a survival game.
