Sabres sign Justin Bailey to entry-level deal

The Sabres announced during Sunday night’s game that they have signed forward Justin Bailey to a three-year entry-level deal. Bailey, a Buffalo native, was taken by the Sabres in the second round of the 2013 draft.

Bailey was off to a hot start with Kitchener of the OHL this season, scoring eight goals and eight assists in 13 games. This is Bailey’s third year with the Rangers. He had a career year last season, scoring 24 goals and 19 assists in 54 games.

Standing at 6’3″ 190 lbs. Bailey brings size to the Sabres and projects as an NHL power forward. He impressed many in the prospect camp this off-season.
