Sabres sign Jerry D’Amigo to a one-year, two-way deal

The Sabres signed Jerry D’Amigo, the last restricted free agent on the team, to a one-year, two way deal. He’ll be paid $700k in the NHL and $125k in the minors according to War On Ice.

D’Amigo, 24, was acquired from the Blue Jackets last season in exchange for Luke Adam. He scored seven goals and 17 assists in the AHL between Springfield and Rochester this season. He was called up to Buffalo late in the season, but his year was ended early when he was high sticked by Craig Smith. He had no points in nine NHL games. He’s played 31 games in the NHL for the Sabres and Maple Leafs.
