Sabres recall forward Tim Schaller from Rochester

The Sabres have recalled Tim Schaller from Rochester, possibly in response to Evander Kane’s leg injury.

Schaller played 18 games for the Sabres last season, scoring one goal and one assists. He had a strong season in Rochester last season, finishing second on the team with 43 points. He has a goal and an assist in six AHL games this season. The move is the first forward recall of the season.

There is still no update on Kane, but there likely will be some news following practice this morning.
