The Sabres have placed forward Cal O’Reilly on waivers according to TVA’s Renaud Lavoie.
O’Reilly, 29, scored three goals and four assists in 20 games with the Sabres. In 44 games with the Americans he scored six goals and dished out 22 assists. He’s signed through next season.
If O’Reilly clears waivers, he’d be able to play in the Americans final three games of the season, April 15 vs. Albany and the 16th and 17th against the Toronto Marlies.
