Nolan rejoined the Sabres on November 13, replacing the fired Ron Rolston. The team has gone 16-30-8 under Nolan. In his 381 total games coached he has a 163-170-48 record. Although he was originally brought in by Pat Lafontaine, Tim Murray is confident that he is the right man to coach this team going forward.
Nolan and Murray spoke at a press conference at 12:30 about the new contract.
