Sabres game vs. Rangers postponed, no makeup date announced

The Bills aren’t the only Buffalo team affected by the snow storm this week. The NHL announced today that Friday’s game against the Rangers has been postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

This is the second season in a row that the Sabres have had a game called off due to weather. Last January the Sabres and Hurricanes game was postponed due to snow and low temperatures. Some believed the Sabres last game against San Jose should have been postponed as well, as only 6,000 fans were able to make it to their seats.

The next game on the schedule is Saturday night, when the Sabres head down to Washington to take on the Capitals. It does not seem like the players will have difficulties travelling at this point. If you live in Western New York, stay warm and stay safe. If not, stay tuned to find out when this game will be rescheduled.
