Sabres front office shakeup? Rumors swirl around LaFontaine
One day after the most important trade in the past few years, the Buffalo Sabres front office is now the source of the rumor mill. Might there be a significant shakeup incoming?
Apparently a total organizational rebuild might mean more than we thought. Rumors are swirling right now thanks to a report from TSN's Bob McKenzie that a potential change in the Sabres front office could be taking place soon. McKenzie is one of the most well-connected members of the hockey media, and others including Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News and Paul Hamilton of WGR 550 have confirmed that nobody is answering the phones at the First Niagara Center.
They're probably all just getting ready for tonight's UnPucked event, right?
More to come as we hear it.
Rumors abound of a potential shakeup in the executive suite of Buffalo Sabres. I've asked the principals for comment. No response thus far.

The BUF rumors I tweeted about earlier focus primarily but not exclusively on Pat LaFontaine. Still no comment from anyone in BUF.
