The Buffalo Sabres will open up their preseason schedule for the 2026-27 season tonight on the road at the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Buffalo will play four preseason games in six days, and with players only allowed to play in two games per the new collective bargaining agreement, there will be lots of rotation and not many opportunities for players to make an impression on fans and the coaching staff.
