Sabres at Canadiens Preview: Buffalo Hopes To Rebound From Poor Back-to-Back Series

After yet another poor showing in a back-to-back series this weekend, the Sabres seemed to have some frustration bubbling over on Sunday night between Ryan Miller and Patrick Kaleta, stemming from Kaleta’s whining about being a healthy scratch against Washington. Will Patty return tonight to bring the “piss and vinegar,” as he says, against Montreal?

Puck Drop – 7:30pm – Bell Centre – Montreal, QC

Story

This is the third meeting between these two teams, with the series being split so far. After taking a day off yesterday in Montreal, it’s unknown as of this writing what the Sabres lines will be like. However, it’s safe to say that Kaleta should return tonight after the team’s poor showing against Washington, and with rookie defenseman Mark Pysyk’s impressive debut, I’d expect him to remain in the lineup as well.

Projected Buffalo Lines

Vanek – Ennis – Leino
Foligno – Porter – Flynn
Kaleta – Hecht – Stafford
