The preseason is here! So here’s a simplified open thread to comment as you watch or listen to the game tonight. Columbus won yesterday, 4-1 over the Blues. This is the first game for Buffalo in a home and home series with the Blue Jackets.
Supposedly Lindy Ruff is giving two periods to one goalie (Georgiev) and the third period to another. (Levi) Here are the lines for tonight’s game –

So only five certified NHL forwards in the lineup for the Sabres and three NHL defensemen in this game. I’m guessing something similar for Columbus.
