The AHL is going to be stacked at the start of the season while the NHL is on lockout. The Sabres have sent Marcus Foligno and Cody Hodgson down to Rochester to keep themselves fresh. There were two training camp invitees this year: Shane Madolora and Jamie Wise. Madolora played three seasons with the RIT Tigers and was named an Atlantic Hockey first team all-star in 2011-12. Jamie Wise impressed the Sabres at the development camp and added a cherry on the top with three goals in the Blue and Gold scrimmage at the end of camp.
