Sabres send Guhle & a first-rounder for Brandon Montour
The Buffalo Sabres have sent prospect defenseman Brendan Guhle and a first-round draft pick to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Brandon Montour.
First round pick and prospect Brendan Guhle going to Anaheim for Brandon Montour is my understanding

The first-round pick going to Anaheim will not be Buffalo’s - it will be either San Jose’s or St. Louis’, which Buffalo owns.
Conditional pick details in Montour deal: #Ducks receive SJS 1st pick, or they have the option to select STL’s pick if it’s between #20 - #31.
