Rate the Buffalo Sabres against the New York Rangers

The Buffalo Sabres once again blew a three-goal lead, but this time they held firm against a strong New York Rangers team playing on their home ice at the Madison Square Garden. The Sabres lead 3-0 and 4-1 and overcame some dodgy refereeing and silly mistakes to win 4-3, and end a nine-game losing streak against the Rags.

Ryan O’Reilly scored twice, with Zemgus Girgensons and Matt Moulson also lighting the lamp. Chad Johnson made 33 saves to improve his record to 21-16-4.
