What to Watch

1. Pushing for roster spots

Last night the Sabres featured a pretty heavy NHL lineup. That won’t be the case tonight in Columbus. However, there will still be some players to keep an eye on. Players like Rasmus Asplund, Arttu Ruotsalainen, and C.J. Smith will look to continue their push for the final roster spots.

2. Casey and Sam

Tonight we’ll get the first look at a forward pair that could be a thing during the regular season. Casey Mittelstadt and Sam Reinhart will be playing together on the Sabres top line. They’ll be joined by Smith on that line.
