What to Watch
1. Flyers Looking for Revenge
The Flyers will undoubtedly be looking for a bit of revenge on Tuesday night as they try to turn things around after Monday’s 6-1 loss. The Sabres looked fantastic on Monday night, firing on all cylinders from the get-go and playing a well-rounded 60-minute effort. Philadelphia, on the other hand, looked flat but will certainly try to turn things around.
2. Taylor Hall Is Just So Good at Hockey
We all knew the Taylor Hall was good at hockey, but his first three games in a Buffalo Sabres uniform have been nothing short of stellar. Hall recorded three assists in Monday night’s win and now has six points on the season. Passing, playmaking, work in the corners... Hall showed he could do it all.

3. Goaltending
The Sabres were set to begin Monday’s game with Linus Ullmark, but he missed the game due to personal reasons. The team didn’t have a morning skate, but Ullmark was on the ice with a small group of players. Per Ralph Krueger, the decision on which goaltender will start will be revealed in the pregame warmup.
Hutton had 21 saves in Monday’s win.
(Best wishes to Linus.)
For the Flyers, Carter Hart started Monday’s game but was yanked after allowing four goals on 22 shots faced. Brian Elliott, who was scheduled to start on Tuesday, came in to replace Hart and made 12 saves on 14 shots. Will the Flyers stick to their original plan of having Elliott start tonight, even though he ended up playing Monday as well?
Note: The Sabres announced at 5:15 p.m. that they have recalled forward Rasmus Asplund from the taxi squad.
